A Week in Review
YES! The Territorial Cup is back in its rightful place here in the paradise we all know as Tempe. It was with enormous pleasure that I got be in Sun Devil Stadium to witness the Sun Devil stomping of the team from down south. What a sweet victory it was to never let the other team lead for a single second of game time, all while proving to them how a winning team properly wears copper.
Desert Hammer was an overwhelming success. That solid gray accented by the bold copper looked workmanlike, and the team’s performance reflected that. Once again, the gray and copper combination in Sun Devil Stadium proved to be successful both in how it hits the eye and in the game result.
Not to be outdone, the gloves and cleats flashed their own copper. Simply put, we took Arizona’s valuable resource of copper, utilized it masterfully, and proved that we own this state last Saturday. It was an incredible showing for the Sun Devils and the equipment staff!

The Week to Come
As much as I would love to bask in the glow of once again flexing our superiority in the Territorial Cup rivalry, we still have one more game to play, and it’s a big one at that as we jockey for a better bowl game.
The Sun Devils will travel to Berkeley to take on Cal and the Sun Devil Equipment Staff is giving the fans one last dose of the beautiful maroon and gold. That’s right folks, the final game of the regular season will bring us the traditional Gold Helmet/White Jersey/Maroon pant uniform combination.

The final touches, as always, are on point. In this case the gloves are maroon and gold while the cleats are white with maroon accents and gold laces. The maroon pitchfork on the gold helmet is standard sized resulting in the symmetrical helmet decals.
Reaction
The maroon and gold combination defines our school.. It is in our blood.
Keep bringing on that maroon and gold. There’s a lot of love for the Black and alternate options, but as Sun Devils, maroon and gold is what we’ve fallen in love with. The maroon and gold combination defines our school. It is all around campus. It is in our blood. In fact, when asked by others, “What is your favorite color?,” I aptly reply, “Maroon and gold.”
You can’t have one without the other. Together these two colors please the eye and warm the heart. As we approach one my favorite holidays, Christmas, that warm, inviting maroon and gold looks beautiful on the tree and mantle as we display our Arizona State Christmas decorations.
Already the fans have positively reacted to this. Many appreciated the Gold/White/Gold combo from our trip to Washington State, but many mentioned that they much prefer the Maroon pants. So as we play our final game of the 2015 regular season, the equipment staff has given us our Gold/White/Maroon combo. This is something for Sun Devil Nation to be thankful for over Thanksgiving weekend. That, and a big Sun Devil victory!
Fantasy Combo of the Week
With our traveling to Berkeley, this week’s fantasy combo is an away uniform. Maroon lid with oversized fork, white standard away jersey, and black pants. The gloves are maroon and gold and the cleats are white with maroon accents. Enjoy!
