TEMPE, Ariz. – Due to construction, several access points into Sun Devil Stadium have changed for the 2015 Sun Devil football season. Sun Devil Athletics has provided several tools to help fans navigate the changes and find their seat on gameday.
“We are asking fans to give us a chance to work through the stadium reinvention and transform this iconic venue,” said Ray Anderson, Vice President for University Athletics and Athletics Director. “When we open up in August 2017, I think fans will realize the momentary changes on gameday were well worth the wait. Sun Devil Nation will be excited to see the final outcome of our reinvention of Sun Devil Stadium.”
For 2015 there are no changes to the entry on the north side of the stadium and fans are encouraged to enter from the north side for the easiest access to their seats. Fans utilizing the north entrance will have access to field-level entrances into lower-bowl seating.
However, there are several changes that affect fans entering from the Southwest or Southeast entry points. Fans entering from the south side of the stadium will need to arrive early and allow for extra time to find their seat. Sun Devil Athletics will also open an additional access point for fans at the corner of College Avenue and Veteran’s Way.
The changes to access Sun Devil Stadium are temporary and fans can expect enhanced restrooms and concessions, a 360-degree concourse, and a top-tier game-day experience once the reinvention of the stadium is complete.
