Marie Tillman discusses her experience at CGI U and as advocate and founder of the Pat Tillman Foundation, a nonprofit organization that invests in veterans and their families through education and community. In the fall of 2008, she began a major initiative, the Tillman Military Scholars program, which aims to create the next generation of leaders by helping a select group of veterans, active service members, and their dependents fulfill their academic dreams.

Leading construction supply and equipment company F&M MAFCO, Inc. (http://www.fmmafco.com), known internationally as "The Powerful Solutions People" , played a major role in the construction of the Colorado River Bridge.
In September of 2006, construction was temporarily halted after the collapse of the cableway system. The cableway system is a critical part of the bridge construction project as it facilitates the delivery of construction materials across the entire canyon, a span of almost 2500 feet.
In March of 2007, F&M MAFCO was awarded the contract to supply two new 50 ton capacity High Line cableways.
The new cableway system consisted of four towers that were 335 feet tall, two head towers on the Nevada side, and two tail towers on the Arizona side. A total of 14 hoists, 8 winches and over 100,00 feet of wire rope and pendants were used for the erection of the High Line Cableway system.
The Colorado River Bridge is an engineering and construction marvel and is the first concrete-steel composite arch bridge built in the United States. The new four lane highway and signature bridge spans the Black Canyon, connecting the Arizona and Nevada Approach highways nearly 900-feet above the Colorado River and 1,500 feet south of the Hoover Dam.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform holds a hearing entitled "Misleading Information from the Battlefield." The hearing focuses on the death of Army Ranger Specialist Patrick Tillman in Afghanistan and the capture and rescue of Army Private Jessica Lynch in Iraq. The Committee examines why inaccurate accounts of these two incidents were disseminated, the sources and motivations for the accounts, and whether the appropriate Administration officials have been held accountable. Rep. Dennis Kucinich questions Specialist Patrick Tillman's brother Kevin Tillman about the mysterious destruction of his brother's property.
Professional football player Pat Tillman joined the Army after 9/11 and was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire during a gun battle. But as Erica Hill reports, the story told by the government was quite different.
