The Arizona State Sun Devils (6-6) will face the #8 Boise State Broncos (11-1) in the 2011 Maaco Las Vegas Bowl on December 22nd at 5:00 PM. This will be the Sun Devils first bowl appearance since the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl in 2007. Boise State played in the Maaco Las Vegas Bowl last year and defeated Utah 26-3.
Things don’t get any easier for the Sun Devils and their depleted defensive secondary as they will face one of most high powered offensive teams in the nation. The Broncos are led by quarterback Kellen Moore who has thrown for 3,507 yards and 41 touchdowns this season. If Brock Osweiler and ASU can also get it going on offense, there will be plenty of fireworks and points scored.
