Counting down to Kick-off against Sacramento State in Sun Devil Stadium on September 5, 2013

          Good Friday, Devils.

We can safely say that last year’s 8-5 Sun Devils out-performed most expectations of the media and fans alike. They finished the year strong as both Territorial Cup and Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Champions. Now, the momentum and enthusiasm around the program is palpable.

The players now enter the second year under Coach Todd Graham. They have somewhat caught up to the speed that his staff requires of them in most facets of the game- including strength & conditioning, practicing and ultimately playing high-octane football on Gameday. We say the players have “somewhat” caught up to speed because Graham himself has admitted that it should take three years to establish the pace he desires of this team.

This way..

At this point, our question is: Could one of last years most efficient, best scoring offenses be loaded with a higher grade of octane in the season ahead?

In just over a month, we’ll find out. But for now, let’s take one more look back at the 2012 Sun Devil Offense in action. We’ll consider it a preview of things to come.
