There’s 364 days until the next Camp Tontozona scrimmage for ASU football.
This year, approximately 5,300 DieHard Sun Devil fans made the trip up north to watch and support the team.
After a successful camp, minus a few injuries, it’s back to Tempe to make final preparations for the promising 2013 season.
Following the scrimmage, Sun Devil senior Osahon Irabor had a direct message to ASU fans. “We’re going to work as a team and family to represent Sun Devil Nation, and we’re going to put out a product that Sun Devil fans can be proud of.”
Other players like Jaxon Hood were ready to come back down the hill. He added matter of factly, “I’m ready to get back to some asphalt and In-n-Out Burger.”
Linebacker Carlos Mendoza was a bit more reflective. Mendoza, always looking to improve and get better said, “When we get back to Tempe, we’ve got to “lock in” and keep working hard like we’ve been doing up here, and we can reach our goals.”
With about 2 ½ weeks left until opening kick-off, Hood had one more piece of advice for ASU fans…
“Get your popcorn ready come September 5th.”
