The Sun Devil Club has a total of 10,169 members with three days left in the #BeTheSolution drive.
TEMPE, Ariz.—In a wave of community support, the Sun Devil Club is excited to announce its #BeTheSolution membership campaign has exceeded its initial goal of 10,000 members by the Arizona State football match-up against USC on Sept. 28 at Sun Devil Stadium. As of Sept. 26, the Sun Devil Club has a total of 10,169 members with three days left in the #BeTheSolution drive.
“The Sun Devil Club is the community’s asset. To have the community enthusiastically embrace membership in the Sun Devil Club is a critical step towards the continued success of Sun Devil Athletics,” said Jeff Lowe, Sun Devil Club Membership Chairman.
The Sun Devil Club has set a 2013-14-season goal of 15,000 members. With the #BeTheSolution Drive continuing through Saturday, there is still time to join the Sun Devil Club and impact the current and future success of our Sun Devil student athletes.
“One of the key aspects of the Sun Devil Club is the ability to take ownership and have a stake in Sun Devil Athletics,” said Jen Moser, Sun Devil Club Board Member. “With a goal of 15,000 members for this year, the Sun Devil Club has the ability to affect positive change – both within championship competition and the lives of our student-athletes.”
Sun Devil Athletics is doing more with less. In the 20-year history of the Directors’ Cup, measuring overall athletics success, ASU has 14 finishes in the top 15 and has never finished lower than 30th. Sun Devils are also winning in the classroom. Since 2000, ASU has produced 66 Academic All-Americans, seventh best in the country.
For ASU to compete in the conference and on a national level, community help is needed. The most successful University athletic programs have a committed community behind them. The Sun Devil Club provides the opportunity to affect change for Sun Devil Athletics and gives ASU fans a chance be a part of Sun Devil Athletics current and future success. For as little $9 per month or $100 annually, ASU fans will become official Sun Devil Club members

The Sun Devil Club gives fans the option of using their membership fees towards sports-specific giving. If a fan has a passion or a vested interest in any one of Sun Devil Athletics’ 22 varsity sports, the membership fees will go directly to finance the success of that program.
The Sun Devil Club is a community-owned organization focused on the funding and support of Sun Devil Athletics. Every membership in the Sun Devil Club helps to provide for the academic and athletic pursuits of over 500 student-athletes in 22 varsity sports. The Sun Devil Club’s ability to consistently meet the scholarship needs of our teams and coaches will be the deciding factor in our success as an athletics department in the years ahead.
