Speaking of Paul Purtzer, he and his brother, Tom Purtzer, both legendary Sun Devil golfers who turned Pro in the 1970‘s, asked how they could get involved this year. Paul ended up volunteering his time by providing a Golf Clinic to guests free of charge. He and Tom run the Purtzer Performance Golf School and Academy in Phoenix.

The most important thing to note about the ASU White Mountain Alumni Chapter is that they are made up of dedicated people who want to improve ASU in multiple ways. Everyone involved does so voluntarily and their annual fund raising event takes much of the year to plan.

There are many definitions and interpretations of what it means to be a DieHard Sun Devil, but “Proving It” is always a key ingredient.

There are no salaries or lavish retreats to congratulate each other on being movers and shakers. They have a distinct mission of dedicating themselves and assuming the responsibility of serving their community and Arizona State University, placing equal focus on the field of competition as in the classroom.

There are many definitions and interpretations of what it means to be a DieHard Sun Devil, but “Proving It” is always a key ingredient. By our scale, the folks involved with the ASU White Mountain Alumni Chapter are unquestionably DieHard Devils.
